Ten on Tuesday

1. Do you decorate for Valentine’s day?

No, I don't. However, I do kind of miss making the themed valentine's day boxes from elementary school...And the sweethearts that having the little messages on them!

2. Does your desktop have a picture or computer graphic? Is it organized?
My desktop is blue. It has a picture of the "windows" symbol. I like to live on the wild side.
Yes, it's organized. I get so irritated when people will take an icon they use frequently and move it out on the side so they can see it early. Keep your shit in order, and you won't have to do that my friend!!!!!

3. Do you use a paper planner, electric planner or no planner at all?

I have 2 calendars on my fridge. One is a whiteboard, one is a calendar my sister-in-law makes with pictures of all my nephews. Those are where I write most events/scheduling down. My black-berry is my main planner. I would be lost without it.

4. Do you change purses or bags often or stick with a good thing?
I change purses once/year pretty much. Once again...living on the wild side.
5. What’s your favorite YouTube Video?
Probably just a comedy excerpt of Tosh.O. I'm not a big you-tuber.
6. Do you use Turbo Tax or a real person to pay your taxes?
I use my husband.

I think he uses Turbo Tax?

7. How many states have you set foot (or tire) in? Which ones?
Many. North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Minnesota, Colorado, Wyoming, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Washington DC, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Alabama.

I think I got them all? :)

8. How many countries have you been in? Which ones?
America, Canada, Mexico.
9. How many pillows are in your house? (Sleeping or decorative)
4 sleeping pillows on our bed, 6 decorative on the bed as well. Yes, I'm excessive lol. 4 on the guest bed,

Our couches "backs" are microfiber pillows too, if you want to count those. So that would add 11!

10. How cold is too cold for flip flops?
I don't wear flip flops unless it's like....76 degrees.

I have the circulatory system of a 90 year old. So my toes get very numb-- so  I require socks and toe-covering shoes frequently.

You have been to a lot of states! I was way too lazy to count when I did this!

I miss getting to pick out Valentines, but I did not enjoy decorating the actual boxes... But it was fun seeing what the creative kids came up with! :)

I love "Ten on Tuesday" day. Yours is the third one I've read now and I love learning interesting little tidbits about your life.

Now, I want to figure out how many states and countries I've visited, but I need to look at an Atlas!!

I also love "Ten on Tuesday"! I even learn something about my daughters I didn't know! I am amazed at all the states you've been in! I'm way behind my daughters on traveling, it seems!

These are always fun!! I especially enjoyed the cold feet answer, because I totally the same way. The annoying thing is - I actually hate wearing socks. So, my feet are cold AND uncomfortable. It's a problem!!

Btw, thank you so much for the comment on my post today!! You have no idea how much I appreciated that. I'm completely the same...and have had many conversations with my co-worker about how ridiculous and TMI people can be.

What is your color?

Green My favorite color ever! I have to control myself to not purchase too many green things. If I had no control, my house would be green. My kitchen would be lime-themed. With greenery everywhere. My bathrooms would be green. My bedroom would be green. You would all feel nauseated-green after entering my home. (So I don't have a green-themed home) Many things I love are green, such as: Spinach (I eat it a minimum twice a day usually) My weding color was green. (clover green) Limes (I have at least one time a day) Grass. I love the feel of grass, especially since I see it so rarely in AZ (except in my neighborhood that has amazing landscapers with grass-galore) Palm trees. Any tree. Christmas trees. I love Christmas Green Beer. I think the green beer on St. Patty's Day tastes better. My favorite color of eyes. When I was in 9th grade, I so badly wanted to get green contacts. But they made me keep my brown eyes. Diet Mountain Dew (my guilty pleasure) Granny Smith...

One Confused Lady

Yesterday morning was packed with a session of cross training.....rushed home to shower and get professional-looking....headed across town for an interview.....kicked butt at my interview...."bopped" over to our house to see the progress of the build......headed to the "design center" to sign more paperwork.... (Side note: I cannot get over just how much paperwork is involved in building a house. Holy Hannah. And we haven't even closed !!! Iy-yi-yi....Those lovely people in history who got law-suit-happy.....God bless 'em.) Yesterday was a good day! So here's a little humor for your Thursday. A little thought. A little depth.....( A little cynical rant ) Afterwards, I decided to head to one of my favorite places to peruse.... Target. But my experience at Target was far from fun, relaxing, or pleasant. Just confusing. Loud. Crazy. Despite many screaming children-temper tantrums.... Which is common and un-escapable. Although screaming chi...

A weekend of the great outdoors

As I am preparing for my return to the real world tomorrow, I feel a strong sense of dread. As I won't have a weekend or free week for a long while! Instead of focusing on that.......I'm sharing a few snapshots from our awesome weekend! This weekend we were in Big Lake, AZ -- which is about 20 miles from the New Mexico border (just 5 1/2 hours from our house). (last weekend we were in Parker Canyon...which I will blog about another day) We camped from Friday-Monday, which was the perfect length of time. The temperatures were a great escape from hot Tucson. In fact...it was VERY cold at night. It was in the low 30's at night, 60's during the day. The trout fishing was incredible. Here's a few snapshots: Home Sweet Home for the weekend! Look at the giant tree I cut down!!! Wow!! (Okay, this was posed...) But...Ryan did teach me how to use a wood-saw! There were tons of dead/fallen trees lying around. So we cut all our firewood for the weekend! I felt very ...
