Oh Goodness

Do you ever have one of these weeks, where you feel like scheduling a time to just go ahead and lock your keys in the car? You know -- Since you feel like it's going to happen, with the way things are going? (I can totally relate to this kid right now...) Yep. I'm having that in the past 2 days. I'm not even going to start delving into the whole conundrum involving my Practicum schedule - because just thinking about thinking about it makes an ulcer burn deep in my stomach. But let's just say, things aren't going "my way" with that.' Today, while working on some final touches to my presentation (Capstone)....I spilled water. A 32 oz glass of water. Not 1, not 2, but 3 times. Which means, I was on my hands & knees with the "Sham-Wow" 3 times today. Then I went to the grocery store. I meticulously spent time on this shopping trip trying to exactly what I need, sans a list, within budget. I did the self check out, be

Wellness Wednesday: "I So(y) don't want to get heart disease!"

And to begin my Wellness Wednesday, I think I may win the award for Cheesiest Lamest Title !!! :-) First off, I am feeling more " well " this Wednesday. I just finshed my FINAL DRAFT of the Capstone paper, my presentation is complete - and I finished writing all papers for the rest of this course. Which means...I just finished my LAST PAPER of my undergrad !!! But, now to my wellness Wednesday. I "So-(y)" don't want to get heart disease ! Soy Milk . As I revealed Monday, I will be beginning marathon training soon. Because I am very paranoid about Bone Health - I am stepping up my "calcium intake". However, being a little bit Lactose Intolerant - I can't really drink plain skim milk as much anymore. So, Ryan & I have started incorporating Silk Soy Milk Light into our "Grocery Staples". But, before this plan was implemented - I did a little research on Soy, and here is what I found! In 1999, the FDA acclaimed the bene

Ten On Tuesday

This weeks 10 on Tuesday is explaining what product you guys for the following categories, and why. Kind of fun and fresh! Happy Tuesday! 1. Cell Phone -Blackberry Tour. It's alright, kind of slow. I was going to go with the Droid, per my husbands recommendation. But, I was way too indimidated by the technical-ness of the Droid. -And, I will always be a Verizon girl. 2. Email -I like Gmail. Love how it groups reply-emails together. Also - there are a lot of extra neat features with it (if you play around with it) 3. Toothpaste Crest Pro-Health Daytime. It. Is. Amazing. Why do I like it? Is it because of it's acclaimed "health benefits"? Oh no. It's because it almost tastes like "Sparkle Toothpaste" for adults. You remember kid's sparkle tooth paste? Yeah, Heavenly. 4. Car -I drive a Pontiac Grand Prix. I remember when I got it - I chose it because it looked more "snappy" than my other choices. Yes, I am one of "those

The Weekend

This is a very surreal, and odd feeling. For, it is Sunday night, and I am looking forward to Monday - and ready for the week to begin. I must say that looking back on the weekend - it was one of the most revitalizing one's I've had in a while! So here it is! This weekend was kicked off early (Thursday night) by.... Coming home from a 13.5 hour day of clinicals to find..... An invitation under my pillow for...... A weekend Staycation at the Star Pass Resort &Spa (check it out!) on our... 1 year anniversary, which happens August 8! (Wow, that year went fast) All this has been up Ryan's sleeve for the past week. I am quite pleased, and SO ready for a little "get-away" from reality! Accomplishments of the weekend included..... I finished writing all the content for my Capstone presentation ........Which relieved POUNDS of stress from my shoulders. After my tomato plant's near-death experience (from our camping trip - absense) - I have tomato
