I haven't been blogging lately. I have been spending my days off on a ladder painting. On my hands & knees cleaning grout. And packing boxes.
We closed 2 weeks ago - and the more time we spend in the house, the more thankful I'm feeling! (and the more time we spend in the house, the more things we find that need repairs :D)
We get the U-Haul next weekend, and make the big move -- so we will be all settled in just before Thanksgiving. :-)
This experience has brought Ryan & I closer. We haven't had much of a social life lately, so we're getting LOTS of quality bonding time working on the house. Our new idea of a date night is a trip to Home Depot or a night of painting baseboards together. Good times!
All I have to say is Thank God for unsecured wireless networks & Pandora Radio. It's keeping me working! What did people do before Pandora?
(Don't worry...I realize the answer to this question is they had these weird *tape-devices* and something call *FM Radio?!*)
I also want to do a "Thanksgiving Tribute" series of things I'm very thankful for. I don't believe myself for a second that I'm going to post every day of November. It's already November 2, so I'm already slacking!
So today...............................(some are less serious than others)
-I am thankful for coffee. I remember when I only drank coffee occasionally. Now it's a daily necessity. The other day I realized we were out of coffee...and I literally found myself ripping apart out pantry in search of something. Anything.
-Thankfully, I found a secret stash of beans. I must have hid them in case of days like this.
-Yes, I realize I sound like some sort of addict. But I've felt crazy tired lately.....
-In addition to being thankful for coffee - The holiday Coffeemate creamers rock! Peppermint Mocha is my favorite.

I am doing my 10 days of Thanksgiving posts starting next year. I think it's the 3rd year in a row of me doing it? Maybe the 4th? I need to go back and check...
We actually don't have Pandora in Canada. It's horrible I know!
