Ten on Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Here's my 10 for the week:

1. What type of cell phone do you have and how would you rate it?
I have a Blackberry. I used Verizon service. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate it a 6-7. I haven't had any major problems with mine. I'd say the internet is a tad slow. If I could go back in time...I'd get a Droid.

2. What has been your most serious injury?
Probably my collar bone breakage at birth? But I don't really remember that.

Sooo I'm going to say when I fell running a few summers ago - b/c I was bleeding like a madwoman from the face & knees. And my kneess still have giant scars.

Also, last winter I chopped the tip of my finger off chopping cilantro. It hurt. Bad. I bled. A lot. And then 2 days later, I went to the gym, worked hard & dehydrated myself a ibt, got home, took bandage off, and got super dizzy & almost fainted. That sucked.

3. What is one movie you hate and why?
Beaches. It's *sniff* so *sniff* sad and *sniff* depressing.

4. How many email addresses do you have?

I have several from the past. But I now only use my gmail, and I have a work email address -- but I can only access at work. And I don't like that email address. I only get ukcy work emails in that.

5. What website do you waste the most time on?
Facebook.

6. Which mexican restaurant makes the best salsa?

Hmm...is there such a thing as BAD salsa? I take that back -- El Charro, here in Tucson. Which everyone just loves. I'm not a big fan for some reason. Personally...I don't like to taste the salsa the next day. I don't know if it's tooo oniony or what? But it makes my stomach feel sick!
I like the salsa at Mi Nidito. It's a Tucson owned restaraunt. If you ever visit, I highly recommend this authentic gem.

7. What is your dream car?
I would Porsch Cayenne. It's sports car meets SUV. Plus, doesn't it just scream "va-va-voom"?!

But, being this is a very expensive car (hence th name Porsche in the title)-- this won't happen. I hate cars. Cars are money pits. Cars don't like me either. The story & truth behind this will be revealed in a blog later this week.

8. If you could spend up to $100 with no strings or restrictions or guilt, what would you buy?
A date night up to the Observatories with Ryan. Tucson has these observatories up in the mountains with AMAZING telescopes -- and they have private dinners and a guided astronomer. $100 no-guilt would knock a few $$$$ off the guilty price.

This is something we WILL do before we move to a new city.

9. What is your favorite board game?
Scrabble! In fact, last summer (when it was 100 degrees every day, so it's impossible to do anything outdoors) -- Ryan and I would play a game Biweekly.
I also love Cranium. And Pictionary. And Balderdash!

10. How often do you change your hairstyle?
What 'hairstyle'? I don't have a hairstyle currently. It's more of an "out-of-style".
Okay, so it's not that bad. But it has been 6 months since I've cut my hair. I pretty much quit doing my hair when I moved to Tucson. Never found a hairdresser. So hit up Regis when I NEED to do my hair. And then they usually cut it too short, too uneven, and screw it up -- then I get mad, and say "I'M NEVER CUTTING MY HAIR AGAIN".

That where I'm at now :)

I love Beaches. :) But I actually love movies that make me cry. It's a good release for me or something!

I would love to try that Mexican restaurant next time I come visit!

My blackberry is due for replacement in June - can't believe I've had it almost 2 years! I, too, will study to see if I should get another one or something else. I agree that the browser is too slow! And don't buy that Porsch - even if you can afford it! Cars and you do not jive! Hmmm.
You can write a blog? I could write a book! Haa Haa! Your fall injuries were much worse than your broken collar bone as all we had to do was to pin your shirt sleeve to the chest to immobolize your arm for a few weeks. Hmmm, I wonder what they do for babies who break their collar bones now? I remember that doctor stating as he was delivering you, that he felt the bone snap! Oops!

What is your color?

Green My favorite color ever! I have to control myself to not purchase too many green things. If I had no control, my house would be green. My kitchen would be lime-themed. With greenery everywhere. My bathrooms would be green. My bedroom would be green. You would all feel nauseated-green after entering my home. (So I don't have a green-themed home) Many things I love are green, such as: Spinach (I eat it a minimum twice a day usually) My weding color was green. (clover green) Limes (I have at least one time a day) Grass. I love the feel of grass, especially since I see it so rarely in AZ (except in my neighborhood that has amazing landscapers with grass-galore) Palm trees. Any tree. Christmas trees. I love Christmas Green Beer. I think the green beer on St. Patty's Day tastes better. My favorite color of eyes. When I was in 9th grade, I so badly wanted to get green contacts. But they made me keep my brown eyes. Diet Mountain Dew (my guilty pleasure) Granny Smith...

A weekend of the great outdoors

As I am preparing for my return to the real world tomorrow, I feel a strong sense of dread. As I won't have a weekend or free week for a long while! Instead of focusing on that.......I'm sharing a few snapshots from our awesome weekend! This weekend we were in Big Lake, AZ -- which is about 20 miles from the New Mexico border (just 5 1/2 hours from our house). (last weekend we were in Parker Canyon...which I will blog about another day) We camped from Friday-Monday, which was the perfect length of time. The temperatures were a great escape from hot Tucson. In fact...it was VERY cold at night. It was in the low 30's at night, 60's during the day. The trout fishing was incredible. Here's a few snapshots: Home Sweet Home for the weekend! Look at the giant tree I cut down!!! Wow!! (Okay, this was posed...) But...Ryan did teach me how to use a wood-saw! There were tons of dead/fallen trees lying around. So we cut all our firewood for the weekend! I felt very ...

One Confused Lady

Yesterday morning was packed with a session of cross training.....rushed home to shower and get professional-looking....headed across town for an interview.....kicked butt at my interview...."bopped" over to our house to see the progress of the build......headed to the "design center" to sign more paperwork.... (Side note: I cannot get over just how much paperwork is involved in building a house. Holy Hannah. And we haven't even closed !!! Iy-yi-yi....Those lovely people in history who got law-suit-happy.....God bless 'em.) Yesterday was a good day! So here's a little humor for your Thursday. A little thought. A little depth.....( A little cynical rant ) Afterwards, I decided to head to one of my favorite places to peruse.... Target. But my experience at Target was far from fun, relaxing, or pleasant. Just confusing. Loud. Crazy. Despite many screaming children-temper tantrums.... Which is common and un-escapable. Although screaming chi...
